Quiet Can Make You Hallucinate

So, evidently - they've found out by building the world's quietest room - that nobody can remain within the walls for more than 45 minutes (the record). Seems that when humans are exposed to a NO sound environment - the brain begins to react in strange manners. Let's see, the ABSOLUTE SILENCE that is often reported with UFO events and with high strangeness in general - does one and one make two?


I found the story Here for Clockers at Discovery.com - but, it references This Link with much the same material. To me, it's of interest that LIGHT reveals itself off of local objects immediately for our consciousness - but SOUND at even slightly greater distances such as the whistle of a train or the drums of a high school band - are actually NON-Nows that have popped into our now in a sense. Pre-determined embedded sound events of which we can't change.

Beyond The Edge - Worthy

Good Morning Clockers. Hello Newbies to UDCC, you've arrived on a good day. The reason is that today you can get a fuller understanding `about my mental positioning' if you tune into an internet radio show this evening. If you have never done that - this might be the time - 8PM-10PM eastern at http://www.beyondtheedgeradio.com/ (I will be on from about 8:30 onward I'm told) - it will at least begin as a SKYPE interview so you can even see my ugly puss.

The show is run by Eric Altman and Lon Strickler - both deeply into the paranormal on an investigative basis - and since most people with this orientation get that from experiences of an anomalous nature - when combined with MY OWN anomalous phenomena experiences - and my very dry and non-standard thinking about such matters (that virtually all of it is Phenomenology related) - should make for some very interesting listening. Yes, tonight you can turn off the TV for internet TV. I'D LOVE for my readers to participate and the website BTER (beyond the edge radio) - has a chatroom too.

This will be the third time I've been on Internet Radio - The First on the UK show `Now That's Weird' and last year on L.A. Marzulli's very edgy show. -------- One of the things that shows ask for on occasion is a bio - so let me reveal via this slightly altered bio that I sent to BTER just a start to where I `come from'.

The Phillips BIO
Rick Phillips was born in 1952 in Shamokin PA but lived in Ohio within a year and grew up in Euclid Ohio. His first memory was on the day of his third birthday party while walking outside, and, he had his first `thought in his head', which was `I AM THREE'. His first startling I AM moment. Soon after, his family moved into `the projects' built for the returning GI's after World War 2 and Korea; his dad was a returning Navy man and destined to become a Fireman and eventual President of his firefighters union. His group organizational skills would have a strong influence on Rick - as did his fathers interest in gambling and a full understanding numbers and chance.

Phillips's mother was a young beauty - under twenty when Rick was born and somewhat of a rebel shortly after. Certainly one who spoke her mind as upon seeing her son for the first time at birth, described him to her mother as `ugly, with red hair like you' (the one thing she didn't want was a red haired boy). Phillips never really had red hair - and the dark blond color he had started going gray at 25 and now is nearly fully white in appearance. But, the rebel spirit was certainly imbedded by early influences of his mother such as declaring that `Ricky will not go to Sunday School' - followed fairly quickly by his mother finding `Humanitarianism' as her new religion. She was one of the first to attend a Rock And Roll Show in Cleveland Ohio (another strong Rick Phillips Influence) and one of the first `working mothers' - which quickly lead to her divorce and she and Rick moving elsewhere (4 times in 6 years) all in Euclid. During one of these situations Rick lived with his mother and her parents - including a grandmother that often said about UFOs (in Rick's earliest memories) `Oh, I wish they would land and take me'. When Rick's mother eventually re-married - Rick's political positions would be influenced by his slightly older step-brother returning from Vietnam shot up with shrapnel and addicted to heroin.
So, perhaps as a result of the above - Phillips followed the path that ultimately would include the strongest of the aforementioned attributes. Indeed, even from the earliest of ages, and awareness, Phillips remembers many possible non-ordinary realities; such as:


Time Distortion as a child when throwing a stone at someone and as the stone went towards the persons back - time slowed down significantly in his perception.


A one time `we won't hurt you' bedroom visitor who instilled sleep movement immobilization and speech immobilization - under age six.


Poltergeist phenomena in home - most likely of the grandfather he was living with at the time of his sudden death when 13 years old.


Automatic writing/Thinking - From 1974-1976 would have to suddenly write concepts he knew nothing about - later to find he was writing Phenomenology ideas similar to Husserl and Sartre when he found those thinkers works. Phillips calls these ideas `The Phillips Phenomenology' and it forms one of his foundations of looking at the anomalous phenomena in the world. Telekinesis witness - 1973 with former roommate at Ohio University, Curt Chaplin - the hallway interview guy, of `The People's Court' for the past 15 years. The telekinesis happened at a pre-selected `power spot' and was during extreme talks of Chaplin and Phillips about Carlos Castaneda's first book - The Teachings of Don Juan. Specifically, Chaplin and Phillips were by far MOST interested in the appendix of the book called `The Structural Analysis'. (Have REVERSE related event with John Flower.)


Full blown Missing Time Incident with Two Others - 1986 with intellectual friend John Flower (so intellectual that he was once an actor for an ad in Rolling Stone that called for a `40's bearded intellectual'). The description of what is remembered of the structure of this `time gap' is worth listening to and thinking about. One great post on The Heavy Stuff Phillips wrote was called `The Missing Space of Missing Time Incidents'. Phillips also may have had a `smaller' missing time incident in the mid-70's also.


Controlled Lucid Dreaming - About a dozen times using Carlos Castaneda's technique of `finding ones hands' in a dream and then setting up a phenomenology there. Phillips describes this reality state as totally unique.


Close Up UFO Sighting - 1991 - Very close sighting with a great background story. Ultimately, this has led Phillips to be a near daily UFO blogger. His highest rated (Alexa) blog is called UFO Disclosure Countdown Clock -

 started in 2007 and put into near daily full gear since 2010 and now with over 450 posts.


But, all of the above - has been fed into the mind of Phillips - which also has had `interesting experiences' beyond the near automatic esoteric phenomenology writing (BTW, most of Phillips's blogs are indeed just that type of approach.) Most of those `outside influences' came as the result of exposure to some of the best thinkers of `un-natural things' - Such as Ouspenski and Gurdjieff, -- when in the mid 1970's - Phillips attended along with J.Flower some `4th Way' Meetings; barely skirting the `higher awareness' cultlike folk they met at the meetings. Nonetheless, Phillips found and finds the awareness teachings of The 4th Way extremely powerful in being aware of mental processes.


In his business career, Phillips has done marketing research, both qualitative and quantitative for some of America's biggest companies and did one-on-one and focus group research, as the moderator and analyst, on new products decades ago - that are used in everyday life today.  Indeed, eventually when Phillips moved into doing Restaurant Trade Area Research as a recognized expert - clients would be making million dollar decisions based on his recommendations.


The ultimate result of all the above is an engaging speaker with possible insights and definite opinions that are often unique. Phillips also has contributed to a new book about to be released in 2012 by Robert Cheatham called Materialization's and Manifestations (UFO Drag Queen) - who has gathered bloggers such as Phillips, Bruce Duensing and Eric Kuersten all of whom can be found on Phillips's Esoteric Blog called `The C Influence' -- Oh, BTW, Lon Strickler also is a contributor to TCI.


Phillips has also appeared on internet radio shows such as L. A. Marzulli's, and the UK show `Now That's Weird', and, is also considering using some of the posts of his blogs as a basis for a solo book project.

OMG - The Sky Sound Phenomena Continues In 2012 - Costa Rica TV Report

There has been, up until now, a slight bit of comfort that the strange Sky Noise Phenomena that UDCC has been reporting on since last spring, was `localized'. Localized at least in the sense that the vast vast majority of the odd sounds have been only heard over limited areas - even the famous Florida Sky Sound last year was somewhat limited in area.

But, this YouTube report, uploaded on Monday with 22K views, and already covered by Godlike Productions and http://strangesoundsinthesky.com/ - features a TV account of  a sound supposedly heard over more than a 100 mile range. Not only heard, heard up to 100 times. It's a BOOMING sound not unlike others heard in the last year and as part of the SNP - Sky Noise Phenomena.
The report is in Spanish, but - you will hear the sounds and `get the drift' of the report.

While the comments are nearly totally in Spanish - one sees reference to the conspiracy idea of underground nukes and such. As Clockers know, UDCC finds the various forms of the SNP to be beyond reasoning out at this point - but - IMO, could indeed, wearisomely, be nefarious in some manner.

At least this is a `current' type of coverage by the MSM - but - then again, with something THIS widespread and so MANY times - it was beyond IGNORING. Will it take some sort of similar happenning in the USA for the coverage to actually begin on the phenomena? Time will tell.

I was wide awake and walking out to my vehicle to respond to a structure fire at 1:23AM and noticed a very large slow moving cigar shaped craft that was moving very slow right above the tree tops, no more than 300 to 400 feet away from me and made no sound. The sky was clear and the moon was almost full, so when i grabbed my night vision gen3 monocle it was hard to see the craft clearly, but i could see no wings only the fuselage. The body of the craft or fuselage was abnormally long and appeared to be at least twice the length of any aircraft Ive ever seen and Ive dealt with many different aircraft as I was once in the USAFs Crash Rescue Team. It did not have standard aircraft light markings, its lights seemed backwards... The red blinking/pulsating light was on the front and it had 2 white dimmer lights on the rear. within a minute it was across my yard and into a very large open field area and as I left my house en route to the emergency call i looked to my left across the field and it was gone. It should have been very visible at the slow speed it traveled which was almost a hover or landing speed.

I have seen many military aircraft over the years and Emergency Medical Life flights come over my house very low, but nothing like this and you can hear them for miles, this thing was silent. Also no other aircraft in the area.

Return Of Spectacular Night `Sky Symbols'/Creature To Georgia

Yes, I do love to feature the good Georgia report when I can - as some of you know, UDCC is produced out of North Georgia. In this MUFON Report - the guy claims to have video too - and, that this `starlike object' stayed visible in the skies for upwards of two hours AND - returned the next night. These pictures, which the guy says are cropped and enlarged, are awesome and similar to other Sky Symbol pictures that UDCC has featured.

Indeed, this phenomena seems to have started with the Stephenville Texas UFO events of several years ago. The Sky Symbol phenomena that is. And, an Amazing MUFON report from California about a jawdropping event on this previous Thursday very early morning `in broad sight':

 am a 23 year old student. I was driving at 12 15 am on December 8th 2011 when I saw something that can't be explained. I was approaching a red light preparing to make a left at a four way intersection. As I stopped three large, yellow lights appeared in what was, only a second ago, a dark winter night sky. These lights were the same size, and were side by side in a horizontal line. There were no lights that would give away the location of an aircraft nearby, like blinking lights on a helicopter. These three lights literally appeared out of no where, they were only a few hundred feet in front of me and were no more than 200 feet in the sky. When the lights illuminated, it was clear they were a part of a larger "craft". The craft itself was triangular in shape. I couldn't make out any significant detail on the craft, but its shape and size were unmistakable. the three lights were at least 80-100 feet in length from one end to the other, and about 40 feet from top to bottom. The lights were a brilliant white/yellow color. They did not blink, pulsate, or illuminate the surrounding area, rather just illuminated and stayed solid. The lights were facing me directly, as if I was looking at the rear of the "craft". Once the lights illuminated they paused for one second without moving the slightest bit, and then the "craft" shot off in an eastward trajectory at a 30-45 degree angle into the night sky. I was listening to my car radio at the time with my windows up so i couldn't detect any sound, but something accelerating at that speed so close to the ground must have made some kind of noise, I would assume. This event happened very close to multiple residences and if it was a jet or something of that nature than it would've made an ear piercing sound. The craft accelerated at an impossible speed traveling miles in only a few seconds. It left a yellow trail from each side that dissipated as the "craft" moved, then simply disappeared. The entire event, from when the lights first illuminated until it disappeared lasted about 5 seconds, but it felt as if time stood still. Whatever this was, it was flying low to the ground in a highly populated area at night. The acceleration of this object from a standstill was jaw dropping, it went from a few hundred feet from my car to miles away in seconds and then was just gone. The immense size and speed of it, and it being so close to the ground was frightening to say the least. I can't help but feel like I saw something I wasn't supposed to, and it can't be explained. Upon further investigation on my part there is a hill only about 300 feet away from the stoplight and there are power lines that run along it. The lights appeared in between me and the hill, and disappeared over the hill and out of sight. I contacted the local air traffic control and was transferred to a man who had authority there. He did not dismiss my report or call me crazy, but instead listened to what i had to report. He told me that it didn't fit the description of anything they know of, and also assured me that nothing abnormal was picked up on the radar. He said there was a good chance that what I saw would go unanswered, and assured me that neither I nor the local residents had anything to worry about. While I can't know how many phone calls they receive of this nature, the man certainly didn't dismiss my claims and seemed honest and genuine with his answers. If this was military in nature than I must say I would feel a huge relief. Knowing that our military possess technology like this would make me feel more safe and secure, and if they did keeping it a secret is completely understood. If this is not military in nature than ....
